The weather change just hits some people differently. Some joke that talking about the weather is just an awkward conversational placeholder. But if the first fifteen minutes of an hour for tutoring purposes is consumed by the joyful blathering of two seasonal change aficionados, well, it shows that weather is more meaningful to some of us. That’s how this session started. I also asked Hang-ah about her experiences of having worked with EPIK teachers of English while she was a teacher and she said yes. Although not much; and not enough to tell me about what their TEFL or TESOL certs were. We then dove back into our book because we wanted to get a lot done. We were not a third of the way yet.
